Brittany is an immigration and refugee lawyer. She received her law degree from the University of Victoria and completed her articles at a mid-sized firm in Victoria where she practiced various areas of law, including immigration and refugee law. Brittany’s immigration experience also includes working at the Department of Justice and a Member of Parliament’s (MP) office in Saskatchewan where she gained a valuable understanding and appreciation of the challenges that many immigrants face in their journey to come to and stay in Canada, including how important legal counsel is to guide these individuals through the immigration process in Canada. Brittany is also very passionate about advocating for the rights of refugees and has worked on several successful refugee claims in the past. Her goal is to conduct her immigration practice with empathy and a client-centred approach, while maintaining keen attention to detail. In recent years, Brittany has dedicated much of her spare time to use her legal skills and knowledge to contribute to community initiatives through volunteering with various not-for-profit organizations.
